STATEMENT OF UNDERSTANDING

Our HCF Freedom (HCFF) Ministers do not represent themselves as professionally trained or licensed counselors, therapists, psychiatrists, or psychologists, or medical providers, and therefore, should not be considered as such. HCFF Ministers should not be considered a substitute for licensed, professional counseling or clinical therapy or medical help. They do, however, seek to help you in a caring and encouraging way to live your life God’s way, and to that end, minister according to His Word — the Scriptures and the Holy Spirit. The goal of HCF Freedom Ministry is to help facilitate, teach, and lead you toward living as a Spirit-filled disciple of Jesus. Our HCFF Ministers facilitate what only the Holy Spirit can ultimately do in your life with your willingness.

For training or assistance purposes, our HCFF Minister, at their discretion, may consult and discuss your information with other appropriate HCFF Ministers, HCF Pastors, or outside professionals — disclosing only necessary and appropriate information pertinent to the training or assistance needed. In cases where it is legally essential to disclose your information, HCFF Ministers are required by law to contact the proper authorities. Pastoral overseers of HCFF are copied on all email correspondence between your HCFF Ministers and you, the ministry participant. This is to provide accountability for both the HCFF Ministers and you along with a record of all communication in the unlikely event of a dispute or misunderstanding arising.
